Subalgebras of Orlicz spaces and related algebras of analytic functions

An Orlicz function ~0 is a real-valued function defined as [0, ~o) satisfying the condition (a) ~0 is non-decreasing (b) (p(0)=0 and ~o is continuous at 0 and (c) (o is not identically zero. In addition ~o satisfies the A2-condition at ~o provided for some C and x (1.0.1) ~0(2x) <_c q , ( x ) x >x or equivalently, for some C (1.0.2) q~(Zx) ~ C( (p (x )+ l ) 0 <_x <o~. I f ~0 satisfies the A.,-c...

Closed Ideals in Some Algebras of Analytic Functions

We obtain a complete description of closed ideals of the algebra D ∩ lip α , 0 < α ≤ 1 2 , where D is the Dirichlet space and lip α is the algebra of analytic functions satisfying the Lipschitz condition of order α.

On growth of Lie algebras, generalized partitions, and analytic functions

In this paper we discuss some recent results on two diierent types of growth of Lie algebras, that lead to some combinatorial problems. First, we study the growth of nitely generated Lie algebras (sections 1{4). This problem leads to a study of generalized partitions. Recently the author has suggested a series of q-dimensions of algebras Dim q , q 2 N which includes, as rst terms, dimensions of...

A Subclass of Analytic Functions Associated with Hypergeometric Functions

In the present paper, we have established sufficient conditions for Gaus-sian hypergeometric functions to be in certain subclass of analytic univalent functions in the unit disc $mathcal{U}$. Furthermore, we investigate several mapping properties of Hohlov linear operator for this subclass and also examined an integral operator acting on hypergeometric functions.

amenability of banach algebras

chapters 1 and 2 establish the basic theory of amenability of topological groups and amenability of banach algebras. also we prove that. if g is a topological group, then r (wluc (g)) (resp. r (luc (g))) if and only if there exists a mean m on wluc (g) (resp. luc (g)) such that for every wluc (g) (resp. every luc (g)) and every element d of a dense subset d od g, m (r)m (f) holds. chapter 3 inv...
